Boroondara BUG:About
From Boroondara BUG
Boroondara Bicycle Users' Group
The Boroondara Bicycle Users' Group (BBUG) is a voluntary group established in 1990, working to promote the adoption of a safe and practical environment for community and recreational cyclists in the City of Boroondara, Melbourne, Australia. We have close links with the City of Boroondara, Bicycle Victoria, Bicycle Federation of Australia, and other local Bicycle Users' Groups (BUGs).
We aim to bring together cyclists from all over the City of Boroondara and surrounds. In particular, Boroondara BUG is always interested in hearing from non Boroondara residents, who cycle through the area.

Meetings & the Newsletter
The meeting location is currently in a state of flux in 2009 - however the Elgin Inn is the most likely location - see below. Please contact us before each meeting to ensure you have the correct location.
Boroondara BUG meetings are held at 7:30pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month, except January at the Elgin Inn, 75-77 Burwood Rd, Hawthorn - upstairs. Pre-meeting chat and drink; 6.30 pm at same location - Elgin Inn. See the markers on the map above. Note however that the February meeting is typically at a barbecue area somewhere - contact us for details.
See the latest Newsletter for details of the next meeting and minutes of the previous meeting. New members, or just keen onlookers, are always most welcome. And we don't mind if you drive to the meetings - just come along.
