What we have achieved

A new bicycle path between Riversdale Road and Prospect Hill Road near Camberwell High School

This vital connection on a popular trail has now been built and this section of path is makes it safer for people walking and riding bikes on this section of the Anniversary Trail (previously known as the Outer Circle Trail).

Campaigned for a feasibility study for the Hawthorn to Box Hill rail trail

The feasibility study has been completed and now we are advocating for State Government funding for this vital bike path.

Bridge connecting the Main Yarra Trail to the Darebin Creek Trail

This connection took 25 years to build! We advocated for this to the Victorian state government and City of Boroondara. It is now very popular with walkers, families, kids on bikes and recreational cyclists.

We regularly meet with the Boroondara Cycle Advisory Committee to provide feedback and input

We have achieved:

  • Removal of unnecessary bollards and modifications to chicanes
  • Participation in audits of all of Boroondara’s off road paths
  • Boardwalk and wide shared path under Wallen Rd Bridge (near Leonda car park on the south side of the Yarra)
  • Increased funding for bike infrastructure in Boroondara
