Boroondara Council is asking for community input on how Myrtle and Macleay Parks can be improved via [this survey] (open until 5pm Sunday 23 July).
The survey includes a map that you can add markers for suggested improvements.
There are opportunities to improve access to these parks and the sporting facilities by bike.
More bike parking rails could be strategically placed at the playground and club houses.
The gravel trail on the northern perimeter is already used by bike riders and could be improved and formalised as part of the Glass Creek Trail.
Park access for active transport, not just cars, needs to be incorporated in the master plan.
